LEI activity taking lot of time

The time taken by LEI activity heavily depends on the amount of data (to be transferred to & fro)in picture. Also the location of notes database and the RDBMS db.

Other factors are query(if) being used to retrieve the data. More complex the query is (having lot of joins, non-indexed table etc), more the time it will take to execute.

Can you provide more details on the LEI activity? What is the backend involved? Do the two database transfer data on a LAN or WAN?
